Trackday people - where to buy upgrades?

I'm trying to resist the temptation to buy a 750 so want to upgrade my 600. Got a Brembo MC coming, so will replace the Suzuki unit and rebuild the calipers. Got my suspension sorted last year at K-Tech, so happy with them just now.

New chain, major service; maybe tart up the fairings if funds allow.

Got the master cylinder from Italian ebay seller, ancillary bits from Demon Tweeks. Wemoto and Sportsbikeshop I've used too, but any others?
Not interested in a clean K1 750 are you?

No thanks. If I was to buy any, I'd look for probably K6 or newer.

So what have people got planned for this year?

I've posted and said I've got my first day of the year booked already at Oulton on the 24th Feb. There's a few cheap days in Feb, anyone else starting early?

I'm thinking of doing another open pit lane day at Cadwell on the 30th March too.

If my wife gets this posting to Gibralter (She's in the RAF) I'll be doing some European track days biggrin
Had to sell my GSX-R 750 though, got to trim down my collection as I'll have no where to keep anything.
It's being collected after its test on Sat.

Also thinking of doing that one at Cadwell and the day before. Thinking of doing 2 days at Anglexey before those 2 days. Am going to be a bit dead to say the least.

I'm looking at a double for donnie

One day is 105 db the other is 98 db

My triumph with a baffle in the arrow should be 98 db.

Has it to be under 98 db?

I don't want to risk it to be turned away after a 6 hour trek. But donnie is too far for one day and back to back dates are rare.

Can you silence them to get through noise. Oh and it's with Focused events.

Yes it will need to be 98 but I believe it's drive by. They wouldn't let me back out after sighting laps till I had got a baffle put in. It wasn't a noisy can in all fairness either.

Was that with Focused. Is drive by quieter? I'm guessing so

No Limits but it was a road bike only. The Donington Park staff are rather hot on the noise limits sadly. One gave me a thump on the back when he saw I had no baffle when waiting to go out!

Booked a double at donnie. Monday Tuesday the 4th and 5th of April with Focused events (I know) 210 quid for both days.

That sounds really good for the money, is it some sort of deal for the 2? I was looking at Cadwell on the 30th March but 2 days at Doningtin also appeals as I've never been before.

Also anyone else doing any days in Feb?

Could you pm me where you stayed when you went to donington mtb?

It's just cheap because it's so early. They sell a few cheap then it goes up.

Will do I'll try find it. You going for it.

I know it's focus events but I'll try them before I pass judgement especially at that price like

Yeah think I'll get that booked. Never done donington before and my excuse previously has been that it's too expensive.

I'll keep an eye out for him curlie, will you be heading down to watch?

He is on the CBR still but it is multi coloured now!
If I can swap my days at work then yes, I will be there at some point.

Not done a UK session with Focused Events, the spanish one was good, but anything to watch out for with the UK ones?

I dunno it'll be my first time. I've heard the stories. I'll see for myself. It's a bit fickle to make judgement on something like this when I haven't experienced it but I have a feeling "I told you so will" pop up.
