I was at Silverstone today
It was flipping freezing for the morning sessions, and then gentle drizzle for the rest of the day - the kind of wet where it's not wet enough for wets, but too wet for super corsa's
Anyway, it was subsequently a crash fast
Enjoyed the morning sessions, but opted to sit in the dry and drink tea in the afternoon
Still, any day where my bike and I get back in the van in the same condition that we'd arrived in is an ok day in my books
I'm at Donnington on the 5th and 12th if anyone else is ?

I think every session was either red flagged, or had several yellows

Good thing I packed up and went home before lunch as my suspension was fked! Had a feeling it may be, quick trip to Parkitt confirmed it. Should have used my noggin and brought a second bike. Some of the guys in inters definitely shouldn't have been there, example being on the sighting laps the 3/4 road bikes in front of me and 2 mates couldn't even keep with the instructor!!!!! How I managed to overtake some people on my shonky R6 with barely working suspension says enough. I had at least 1cm chicken strips due to it's handling and still flying past some people. I don't know how it was for the guys flying past me, they probably wondered why I was wobbling about!
Need to get my bike fixed before booking another day Wouldn't mind doing Silverstone again with working suspension. R6 felt okay but it's definitely a circuit for the 1000's.

Mallory Park - any good?
Never done it ...
Marmite, although some people are snobs. Never done it ...
I've often had my biggest dices with people at Mallory. Normally the faster rider creeps away but at Mallory you can seemingly bite back if someone passes.
The consistent radius of Gerrards is good for experimenting with body position as well, if that's current goal. 08> FireBlades might struggle through noise testing though?

I'd need to go back up to Scotland to pick people up. But I like your thinking
Im excited only been to oulton for my first ever track day couple of years ago so itl be good to finally go back. Can you camp there or do they kick you out?Just use a bed that doesn't sit on the deck as the pits leak depending on how bad the rain is.
I take a laptop with movies etc hook it up and your sorted with a few beers and a domino's. Its a good laugh as you get chatting to a few others doing it. Just take something to piss in at night as it's offly inconsiderate lifting the roller door at 3am.
