I use race chrono. Phone GPS isn't brilliant but the app works really well in conjunction with an external 10hz Bluetooth GPS receiver

I use the same software, on an old Nokia phone. And a Q Starz GPS thing. Works really well. Put it all under my seat at the start of the day so it's completely invisible. Also means I'm not distracted during the day checking laptimes etc

I've just booked the evening one up, then remembered my Blade's rear tyre is bald from Spain/Portugal. Will be on a Black 2013 Speed Triple if anyone is about and wants to say hi!

Or... anyone reckon you can get away with doing an evening trackday in Fast group with barely 2mm across the whole tyre (M7RR)?

Sweet. Also in novices.. the bike should be recogniseable by having a cracked screen (damn garage door spring broke and landed on it), and I will be the buzz cut grey git wandering around in lightly scuffed leathers smile

Arriving in a budget rental t5 van.

3DP - sure there will be tyre service there if you wanted to get it changed..

I'll look out for you at the day/evening crossover - I'm riding it there and have a new M7RR at home waiting to go on. They are a little brutal with the levers on the rims as track bike owners don't care!. I reckon I'll just use the Speed Triple and put up with the neck ache. headache

Just got home from a fun couple of days at Oulton with MTB. I'll get some footage up tomorrow, but I'm pretty sure MTB's biggest smile for two days was when it started raining wink

I await a flaming for piss poor body position, crossed body, st braking, lurching throttle and generally being a poof.

However, I've actually taken a lot from the video and watching it I'm going, wtf are you doing there, I cant do this whilst on track as I'm too busy being st. So can someone recommend a camera that doesn't crash and corrupt every bding video near enough. 1 video over the course of a day that I can actually play is a joke.

Anyone going to Donington park on 12th Sept? Focussed Events Chrono track day?

I'll be on a green ZX6R, and my friend on his blue ZX6R.
