I've had a nightmare day. Chain snapped in the 3rd session. Fitted new chain but there is a horrible rattling from 2nd gear that sounds a lot like its dropped a tooth or two. Current theory is that in dropping a tooth, it locked momentarily, which snapped the chain.
Weekend is now over for me, bike is retired unless someone else on a zx10 crashes and lends me there gearbox. Haha.
I managed to see you a couple of times on track Graeme, despite my limited amount of laps. Which garage are you in and I'll come say hello tomorrow. I'm garage 5.

Gear selectors are known to go on ZX10's causing false neutrals, if it happens again I'd be looking at down that route.

Well my bike is sidelined, so my mate said we could share his. All was well until the I tucked the (very fked) front. Ooooops.
Simons Fireblade? We were sharing his bike as mine was fked. As one was out in inters and one was in fast, we only had 20 minutes to do bike stuff. Had just fitted a new rear tyre, and I'd looked at the front and hoped it would last until the end of the day. As I was riding round I was thinking to myself "this tyre is pretty fked, we'll need to change it sooner than the end of the day" and then the next lap I was on my Arse. My 6 months old Leathers are pretty fked, thankfully helmet is untouched. Bike is just cosmetic, so I'll owe him a respray plus a few little bits and bobs and some crash protection. Plus his go pro (that we had forgotten to switch on, grrrrrr) is smashed up.
I fking hate bikes
I'm at cartagena now, I've got to say, its a decent track. A lot of people are saying it's technical, but i don't really know what they mean, so 'tricky' is my word to describe it. I'm gonna have a try in the fast group tomorrow to see how i get on, as I've been running well in inters but hitting a fair bit of traffic. Knackering days though, late 10am start, but baking hot by midday. The lovely weather, great track time and the awesome restraunts make up for my embarrassingly lackluster year 11 Spanish, and so far its been a great trip.
