Tony, you can only hope that the d1ck slamming his brakes on wasn't given a license....
I wouldn't mind betting he was. I only hope he's learnt to follow simple instructions since

When I started out they said once the chequered flag is out half pace for the rest of the lap. I done this next time I was there and got told off. Well spoken to politely. That is was to continue as normal till the last corner. Then half pace.

I had a mate doing the ACU test. On the race start practice at Brands they are clearly told to proceed when the light goes out and they are coming into the pits via Surtees and not doing a full lap. They are told they don't need to be race pace after the start but should me mindful of other bikes if slowing down. Red lights go off and they all sprint off the line only for the guy in front to slam the brakes on going into Paddock. My mate had to ditch his bike to avoid taking him out....at a cost of £1700.

Some people will never get it
was that a dig?

I think that rule was set out on a intro night, I continued it to the next track day and this wasn't the norm.

Ive just booked it for the monday.
Are you meeting up with hebegeb?

I will be there early monday morning so will keep a look out for you.
Is he going?
I am sure he mentioned that he was.
Pm'd you my number. What group are you in.
Ive lobbed myself into novice again, will only be my 3rd trackday and I am learning a lot each time so happy to run in novice again for this one. May regret it, may not as I will be having fun anyway. Going to see how I get on with working brakes and a new track to see if I get up to speed quickly, if so then I will jump to inters in the next one.

As said, my mate will be there, he will be in a black Vito and has a red and white Triumph 675 (no 152 and '666' race decals).
I will be looking out for everyone but he will hopefully make a bit of space for me.

Your right was a bit precious.

This isn't the first time where knockhill seem to have slightly differing rules from down south.

I can only assume its because they aren't from the same organiser, and on the day it depends who you get.

Our briefing on Sunday was. All been before, yup.

All happy, yup.

Ok, don’t stop on track, you might get black flagged, could be a problem with the bike or aggressive overtaking, take a sticker.

Alex, all those videos you linked are when the crowd all leaves pitlane together at the start of a session.

I think the problem we're all describing is a bike joining a live race track.

A few open session ones.

Anyway, I tend to go with the flow on the day, I rarely start a track at the front and would keep my speed consistent with what I see. I just have never pinned it when joining a track, that might be with not having tyre warmers before. But I might need to in future.

Anyone know of a restaurant near Anglesey I think the mrs is coming. fk knows why.

Some place you can wear jeans and sambas and get mcd's style grub. I think a pub is what I'm looking for that sells pub grub.

There's a good Thai in Rhosenigr, or however it's spelt. A place called the Oyster Catcher too which is nice.

Also a pizza takeaway there.

Your not making her sleep in the Octavia are you? There's some weird folk in that part of the country you'll wake up and your car will look like a plasterers radio.
