Discussion
So today was my first track day in years and we were at Donington. Except for wet first session the rest of the day was dry and had sunny day all day albeit a bit chilly. As per my comments a few weeks ago I was worried as kept looking over my shoulder on previous track days. Well you were all right......don't look over your shoulder. I felt so much better just doing my own thing and the other riders did a good job of flying passed me with plenty of room for both. I know i was a moving chicane but had no bother off anyone....suppose they all started somewhere. Even though I was slow I had great time and can see me getting back into it and trying to up my speed.
Thanks to those who advised me a few weeks ago.

Great stuff. It's not about how quick you go or slow you are it's about having the best time you can on two wheels without getting nicked. Thanks to those who advised me a few weeks ago.

Sorry for late reply - it's on the Silverstone website. Business Manager at OYB invited me to join him and a couple others. Come down should be good !My first trackday in about 5 years and I'll be riding to and from the track. Would it be ok to set up in a garage with you and borrow tools etc if needed

The reception is terrible here Charlie. I am in the pit next to your mate with the 675 and loon and hedge are in the one next to it.
if you drive past a tent that's held up by a prayer and looks worse than the refugee camps you see on the news that's me.
I fkING HATE CAMPING. I mean really it has to be the most horrible thing I have ever encountered. Id sooner spend another weekend in the holding cells at the local plod shop than a night waking up soaking from my own breathe whist sleeping on a half, no sorry quarter inflated, inflatable bed as they wont put a normal fking value on it so you have to blow into it for fking hours like a asthmatic kid with bronchitis with the fking flu at two in the morning.

I have two stories to tell when I can be arsed. The first is called Frozen. It's not a Disney kids sing along. It's about one mans struggle with sub zero temperatures in a £13 Tesco tent.
The second is called "the throttle goes both ways". It does, to the limiter forwards and backwards. That is not fun trying to shed speed at Rocket.
