Just got a call from the BST repair company to say wheel isn't repairable frown
Gaffa tape or superglue?... Seriously though that sucks
It's worked out ok, as Shops insurance is paying out the cost for it as the wheel is only 5 months old.
Not sure I can trust the wheels now, so have ordered some Oz Piega wheels, and will flog the front one on
Have just been getting loaded up for donington in the lovely sunshine today, and then checked the forecast for there tomorrow, and looks like it's going to rain frown

Anyone else at Snetterton yesterday?

Utterly gorgeous day. Track was in good condition despite the cars dropping oil in places the previous day.

My first outing of the year. So much fun. Can't wait to see the pro photos of the day.

If anyone was there, the serious accident at the pit entrance, one of the guys(the one who got hit) was next to me in the pits. Reports are that he's OK. Some injuries, but OK.

Yep sure was a good day, im glad to hear that guy is ok because it looked really nasty, saw it happen as i was putting my helmet on ready to go out. Oil was everywhere in the paddock too , we were set up infront of the grass bank before the garages and there was huge puddles of it all over the place .

Does anyone know if Mallory let you turn up the night before and kip in the paddock? I want to drive up on Thursday and sleep in my car rather than getting up at 3am to get there on time. The bike will be on a trailer so I don't really want to sleep on a side road or carpark, and thought the circuit would be a better bet.

Went back up to Donington today on a nice last minute freebie.
I've always struggled with setting a good time around there, so had a go at rethinking it a bit.
Set the timer on for one of the afternoon sessions, and was pretty pleased with the improvement
Not sure I had a decent clear lap in this session, and there's still quite a bit to work on, but reckon I can get nearer or under 1:40 before racing there in May

Im there in July Graeme but have no idea what a good or bad time is tbh. Few mates were there and said the noise police were hot that day

BSB were doing 1:29's at the front of the grid and 1:32's at the back so that should give you some perspective.

All this track talk is making me reconsider buying a track bike scratchchin

What a great action shot! Even if I am willy waving...

And WSBK Pole time last year was 1:26 !
Got some way to go, but would be pretty happy to nip under 1:40

Yep I'm Leigh on Sea Essex so it's a good 170-180 miles I think... Worth it though
