Cadwell was mint despite the weather forecast... Couple small showers at most
Took me almost all day to sort the bike. Few bits broke or don't work right but I'm 95% there
I'm not on fb anymore but a mate said a few of my pics got loaded up and I reckon this one looks good
Was good to meet Nemesis too although not sure you stayed long?
Nice to meet you yesterday Birky, was good watching how you got air off the mountain.Took me almost all day to sort the bike. Few bits broke or don't work right but I'm 95% there

I left about 3,30pm
Well , " race " numbers on and all ready for 10.30 tomorrow morning when some of you will be snoozing your way through your second or third Easter Egg , me and a few mates will be thrashing round a cold wet boggy wooded track for 1.5 hours non stop ( hopefully ) .....
When I ran a marathon I said I will never do it again - haven't struggled to uphold that ... wonder if I'll say the same tomorrow about Enduros....?
Head to head with number 29 ...little else matters ..... supposed to be 100+ in it ... we're aiming for trying to finish is all ( ok top ten would be nice ...)....

Thankfully it just made a mess of pitlane. It started spewing just as he came in after 1 lap because his gear-lever had come off. hebegb said:

Weather looks cracking there now

Sadly , only 16 in my class !
.......however , would have made me 20th in correct class ( novice / beginner ) as was in with some serious well experienced Enduro riders , 8 laps in 1hr 35 against winners 12 laps ....
Early days but got it done !
I should have written this in the well tried and tested manner of that nugget who posts everywhere about " race " wins now and then and thery were actually class wins ,in a class of 2 with his 70 year old dad being the other rider ..!He actually came second last usually ...
Craig something or other I think ?

The last paragraph,
Had my first visit to snetterton today
I didn't get much chance to watch onboards before, so spent most of today with no idea of where the track went
Enjoyed it none the less and back there again tomorrow
Bloody gearbox is playing up again though, so tomorrow may have to be cut short for yet another trip to MSS seeing as they're up this way and I need my bike working for next weekend/week

Good result. How long was a lap? That must have been knackering 1.5 hours non stop! Sadly , only 16 in my class !

Approx 6 miles George apparently , bit of a drop and climb out of a stream crossing and then a rocky little other crossing , a few other challenging little tricky bits but in fairness an even split of both open fire roads on perimeter of woods and then into the woods with some rutted tree root rutted sections and soft wood chipping tighter sections - got the lap down from 15 mins first lap to 10 mins last lap ( fastest on last lap as I knew I was close to have a ninth lap scored but missed by a few seconds ! Great fun and will be doing more - cheers

Didn't realise you were there today. I had a few mates there and wanted to go but had to be family man instead ams balance it out so the wife says given I was on track end of last week I didn't get much chance to watch onboards before, so spent most of today with no idea of where the track went

It's a pretty good track but the noise police are so hot on pulling you there
How'd you find it though? As for the Kwak...get that upgraded box, seems common

Bike box was an electrical problem with the qs either not working at all or cutting the spark randomly and typically ran fine on the MSS dyno today
They've done a little bit of replugging and resetting, so hopefully it'll work next time out

Nice improvement in lap times then! I imagine it's difficult as you can't exactly go and do a track day there the day before?Great fun and will be doing more - cheers
