Well today I picked up a 2011 xj6 diversion in black with all of 3650 miles. Here posts a happy man.
Only went into the showroom yesterday to get the carbs balanced on my fazer and walked out £2650 of my hard earned and no fazer
The cherry on top is I have this week off work so I get to go out and about when the rain stops
new with old pic

I like spontaneity!
That's Charles Hurst if I am not mistaken, they do get some nice bikes at good prices.
I was in 3 months ago and I asked Ken about the possibility of getting a 2012 or younger R1 in and he said it was very unlikely as they only sold 3 or 4 each year, wouldn't you know last month they got a 2013 gold / white one in with 800 milrs on it. They had it up for 8360 I think, I had already upgraded my bike a bit so wasn't buying, it didn't sit long.
Now they have a 2012!

Funny enough it is C.H. I work on site (only clean the cars) but I got a 2011 XJ6 Diversion with only 3650 miles for my 00 fzs600 and £2650 of out of my pocket.
Yes I am a happy chap,Yes I have this week off work and yes I shall put on as close to 1k miles this week as possible before I have to go back to earn the money to replace my savings.
But I decided that it was worth getting a newer bike and enjoying it. Plan on 2-3 years with this bike gaining more bike road craft before jumping onto something a little more powerful. (only went through DAS in december)
