Genuine question, but what's he going to do with it?
It's the road version he's got coming, I should have realised you were talking about the track version, he has a bit of a collection but runs them all...

Then I'm even more confused as they're still for sale so not sure how he can claim that level of exclusivity. I'd have thought the R1M would be a more exclusive bike with better power output and flexibility of use too.

Just my twopennorth and YMMV

I was under the impression that the UK allocation had all been sold? Indeed the owner of Shirlaws motorcycle dealer in Aberdeen has been trying to source one for himself and can't find one anywhere? I'll quiz my mate a bit this afternoon and see what he says, his mate has a panagale superleggera so they like their ltd's? smile

At £22,000 the H2 is nowhere near the same league as the SuperLeggera if we're being honest.

There was an article on Facebook today saying there was still two UK h2rs available and akropovic are developic an exhaust to bring it under 107db as it was recorded at 130db!

It also said the h2 wasn't a limited run

Looks much better in that matte colour, the one at the NEC was a fingerprint magnet.

Very true but exclusivity of the launch model H2's should remain fairly high, his has shipped and he has been told that they are looking at making them in unlimited numbers but that the spec would likely be less than the limited launch models, the guy in Aberdeen has been trying to source one all over Europe and is struggling to find one (road version)

I'm not too sure. I've got an HP4 and wouldn't say that's particularly exclusive despite being limited numbers. Better just to ride it amd enjoy it then sell it when the time comes.

Adam put this up on his facebook & Twitter. I don't think it was him who hit it, but impressive if true non the less even for the h2r.

Did he buy it from kirkcaldy kawasaki. The second it came out in heard there was a deposit taken for one of these. I'd love to see it on track though.

Knockhill would allow it as they don't bother with noise testing.

Even I managed 300kph down the start finish straight and I was easily the slowest rider on track (eight of us, in two groups of four). http://www.superbike.co.uk/bike-tests/h-hour-first...

Not being au fait with the current crop of journalists, I'll have to raid the local newsagents to work out who you are!

Lucky sod being there, although that's the H2 isn't it not the "proper mental innit" H2R.

Unfortunately Loon, I think I just bought Superbike's very last copy last week end before boarding a flight and Mr Hogan was saying they'll be digital only from now on.

Unless I am confused between my mags.

Good luck to them.

I'm pretty sure he bought it from Shirlaws in Aberdeen, it's the road version he has coming, interestingly he had an invite from Kawa to attend the Scottish bike show this weekend but he's working, wonder if they are gonna do the dyno thing there?
Apparently there are 3 H2's coming to Scotland

I think I remeber him from Two Wheels Only a good few years back. My memory is a bit hazy at my age though.

Yep he did the Hogan's Heroes feature due to the Army connection. Think he was just out when he started there.

It's a great bike, in that it has some mental power figures and straight line speed, plus it looks like something Lord Vader would ride on an Imperial visit to Earth but the main reservation I have is, what does it handle like compared to the likes of the new R1/RSV4/1299/S1000RR and ZX10R.

Ah, Hogan's Heroes. It must have taken my old editor at least four seconds to come up with that title.
