Can anyone from up here give me a good route to go from hartside cafe to Scotland.
Me and a couple of lads are going to do a big ride soon from huddersfield over to settle then devils bridge, then up to hartside cafe for some breakfast. We want to end up in jedburgh for some Scottish fish and chips so from the maps I guess just head east to the a69 then north on the a68.

Does anyone know a route that's more fun or is that the best route.
I remember the a68 being quite fun in places in a car it was like a rollercoaster if I remember rightly.

Cheers. I can find most of those places. So from hartside would you say up the motorway to Moffat then across passed St Mary's lake to Selkirk then through melrose and down to Jedburgh?

I couldn't find where beeftub is

Houses are fookin expensive. Never mind buying it, it's running it that's killing me. Just got more important stuff going on at the mo, but will get something sooner or later, it won't be anything remotely new or fancy though.

yeah like i say i can prob justify a grand maybe a few quid more but anything more than that for a weekend toy seems a little pointless when im supposed to be saving.

Welcome to the real world wink

Houses are a pain in the ass at the best of times... working on them even worse. I don't mind DIY (currently renovating my bathroom) but I can't stand finding the previous owners bodges which causes me twice as much grief!

I'm buying brand new next time!

Houses are great. No mortgage and I'm just ripping out the bathroom and kitchen and building a garage. Then I'll move again because this new place is too small.

Get old, life's pretty cheap then.
