NW KREW '15 ride outs, banter and man love from Loon

Great day out chaps
That was a long day for me, woken up at 4am by my pissed up step son 11 hrs and just shy of 400 miles in the saddle. I need a mobility scooter now
I really enjoyed myself, happy plodding along at my own pace. Those roads up are great and the ones surrounding Hartside are brilliant
Nice to see some old faces and meet some new. Good set of lads and the fella on the R1 was a nice bloke even if he had muddy tyres I wont be leaving it so long before come again.
What I learnt today
No matter how much my leg hurts I love this bike, the more I get used to it the better it gets.
When R1's jump they don't land as softly as a mountain bikes do. Grabbed my attention that did.
Disappointed I didn't see BN's pink wig

I didnt get to speak to everyone. I didnt want to interrupt conversations etc. Which one were you ?
Hello if I didnt say it today.
I wasn't with the PH crowd, I came up the hill from the Newcastle side with a few mates, but I spotted BN when I was coming out of the Hartside cafe and stopping for a slash, so said hello to the guys I recognised and met Mr OCD, LegzR1 and Tight5 for the first time. There were a few faces I didn't recognise so I can only assume you were one of those. Glad you had a good day!Hello if I didnt say it today.

There is footage yes but it won't be posted online as my speedo is broken and it was telling fibs all day, I have all the days riding, I will have a look tonight and upload it to Dropbox if you want to see how slow you were

The SRAD kept up well. Any footage from the GoPro?

I'd like a look at the run up to MIT where I peeled off as I think you were behind me for LoonGate?LoonR1 said:
He was and I have already seen Loongate form his perspective.
Hehe, there are a couple of seconds footage where you look like you know what you are doing, not many though....All the runs were good once we got up into open countryside, there was some good riding going on, the Diavel was a pain to get past as it was much quicker than my bike out of the corners, and seemed to be huge because of the back tyre, it was interesting watching it though, the final run for me was probably the quickest bit of the day, apart from cars getting in the way, but I guess they have just as much right to be on the roads, although the closing speeds can be a bit hairy at times, think I gave the driver of a moggy thou a heart attack!
I am going keep this bike and upgrade a few bits (for this year anyway), no aches and pains after a days quick riding, its going slow that hurts.

I'm not the one who had to run a red light on the last part of the run just to shake me off All the runs were good once we got up into open countryside, there was some good riding going on, the Diavel was a pain to get past as it was much quicker than my bike out of the corners, and seemed to be huge because of the back tyre, it was interesting watching it though, the final run down a random road in the South East was probably the quickest bit of the day, apart from cars getting in the way, but I guess they have just as much right to be on the roads, although the closing speeds can be a bit hairy at times, think I gave the driver of a moggy thou a heart attack!

I think those "couple of seconds" we're when I made a few mistakes, I'm normally out of control 99% of the time. The Moggy driver seemed less concerned when I went past.
