Hehe, there are a couple of seconds footage where you look like you know what you are doing, not many though....
All the runs were good once we got up into open countryside, there was some good riding going on, the Diavel was a pain to get past as it was much quicker than my bike out of the corners, and seemed to be huge because of the back tyre, it was interesting watching it though, the final run down Road was probably the quickest bit of the day, apart from cars getting in the way, but I guess they have just as much right to be on the roads, although the closing speeds can be a bit hairy at times, think I gave the driver of a moggy thou a heart attack!
Might keep this bike and upgrade a few bits, no aches and pains after a days quick riding, its going slow that hurts.
I'm not the one who had to run a red light on the last part of the run just to shake me off All the runs were good once we got up into open countryside, there was some good riding going on, the Diavel was a pain to get past as it was much quicker than my bike out of the corners, and seemed to be huge because of the back tyre, it was interesting watching it though, the final run down Road was probably the quickest bit of the day, apart from cars getting in the way, but I guess they have just as much right to be on the roads, although the closing speeds can be a bit hairy at times, think I gave the driver of a moggy thou a heart attack!

I think those "couple of seconds" we're when I made a few mistakes, I'm normally out of control 99% of the time. The Moggy driver seemed less concerned when I went past.

Oh really?Yellow at wait here sign, and after it, if you had been behind me you wouldn't have had to stop would you now?
Edit, see even Graham agrees, and I was only going slowly at that point too, not even breaking the law, much.

I'd lost time getting past a Fireblade, that had a rider afraid to get hard on the power, even when doing fast road work with the lads
Once past him I was catching you, while I was riding one handed waving to my fans at the side of the road.
Kiss my arse. Once past him I was catching you, while I was riding one handed waving to my fans at the side of the road.
Forgot to mention Graham taking piss at Simons anger of other drivers on the road ... Was hilarious!

Genuine question lads - don't you have concerns with recording the ride outs?
Yes, and no, I'd like to think that someone would have the foresight to remove the camera if something really stupid happened, but I do worry about getting pulled and having the camera looked at, I wish they came with an instant delete button that you could press and it dumped the memory, I might just stick to recording rides with my mate on his 125 in future, or moving it up above the clocks.Edited by Jazoli on Monday 8th June 21:33

... Or hide the camera not as noticeable? A mate has his tucked into air duct lol
Too much paranoia. The police don't have the right to confiscate your camera to see what you've been up to. They may want it in the event of the camera bike being involved in something serious, but even then they can't just confiscate it, they have to request it through legal channels.

That's what I was getting at.I've seen films where they have industrial strength magnets set up with a switch that instantly wipes the SD card.
Actually, thinking on, a building normally explodes and three baddies attack with military-grade weapons so perhaps there's a better system?
Might put myself up for some flack here but been on ride outs with some IAM folk who think they're safe & scared me, likewise, some of the beardy old fookers would have had a lot of you wondering what voodoo they know as they'd have been ok at that pace. A large number of the ones I did my IAM with were traffpol.
Also, on the road, covered in ste with dry stone walls, I wouldn't have pushed much more on unfamiliar roads etc.

I was going as fast as I probably could / would as that's the first time I've been on the road this year and still not got my head completely sorted. I don't think I'd be going any faster in the middle of summer though either.
The next bit of the ride is the really good and fast stuff, so a shame you couldn't make that. Maybe next time.
