Yeah that is what I was going to start off on. Probably need to go a bit more than that for me with my beer belly. I will get it sorted. Well happy with it apart from that.
It's a really nice bike, you've done well.

Aye to good not to buy really. Just needs me to be able to ride better now. Getting there slowly.

Had another top tip from Loon today about my arms. I knew what I was doing wrong but I was going about correcting it the wrong way. Tried the wee tip after I left you lot and Its made life a lot easier. Just need to program myself to do that all the time. Silly little things like this make a lot of difference.

Cheers old chap biggrin

What time you going to be there Tim? I will pop up for a brew and a chat, I'll probably be in the car as I haven't quite worked out how to fit a numberplate to my bike yet.
We're setting off from huddersfield at 8 and were going the long way so well be there by 10ish and probably stay an hour ish.
No probs, will see you there smile
Sorry couldn't make it this morning, daughter bumped her car last night so had to get the persuaders out to straighten it before she went to work today.

No probs. Just got in now. Really good first ride of the year. I really needed that. Awesome weather. Did about 200 miles. It was nice to ride with two slower guys as well as I could find my feet a little.

Devils bridge was rammed. It was like a scrum trying to get a coffee.

Anyone up for a blat Sunday? Got a lot lined up this week so Sunday is 'me' time and I want to ride some decent roads ...

From my Facebook page yesterday I'm glad I didn't bother going out ...

Why what happened? It was a beautiful day after 10am.
I may be out Sunday depending where anyone's going and weather dependant.

Lots of crashes apparently ... the roads were rammed as every FWB was out wobbling about for the first time this year... it's always the same the moment the sun comes out after winter. I like to wait till it calms down a bit but it wasn't exactly warm for anything more than a steady run although you'd not think that with the carnage I've seen... lol

Sunday is looking iffy weather wise but will keep an eye on the forecast... I'd like to head up over DB, Hawes and Settle for the first time this year although I've no idea what state the roads will be in ...

Like me biggrin i was out over that way on sunday. huddersfield to settle to hawes then back to devils bridge. i set off at 8am so didnt really see that many bikers until we got to devils bridge. I felt rusty as hell though until we got to ribblesdale viaduct. After that i started to get onto the groove again. It was a beautiful day and great weather after the morning chill had gone.

what bike does he have? if he lives in huddersfield hell probably go up new hay road for small runs as thats where everyone seems to go.

im ste on them roads. Not so bad on the it from the viaduct into hawes as i can sometimes remember them but the roads from settle to the viaduct im terrible on. everythings blind and sharper than i remember.

We turned around as you come into hawes and went the bottom way i guess youd say to devils bridge. Ive been on that road once before with loon and yazzaetc but i forgot how fun that road was. There was a police bmw heading that way though as we pulled up to DB

Modified 07 GSXR750 ...

I usually ride out with Ryan and Simon quite a bit over Summer but I know Ryan still needs a road bike and not sure how often Simon will be out as he has a lot going on at the moment.

Does he go out with his Mrs on the back quite a bit? I always remember seeing a really fast lad around on his 750. Always passing people whilst two up.

Had a trip to Hawes Sunday afternoon, biker bliss was not as cold as a few weeks ago when I only saw two other bikers in Hawes.

I'd be up for a ride in that neck of the woods, however I'm not the smoothest of riders at the moment. How fast do you guys tend to ride? I am happy enough going fast but I am very cautious when it comes to corners and overtakes...

I'm in Harrogate so should be able to meet up somewhere easy enough!

You don't need to keep up POD. Just rock on at a pace you are happy with. They will wait for you at junctions etc.

I doubt I'll be out much this year, I'm struggling to find the motivation for road riding these days, I'm going to stick an MOT on the track bike this weekend and give it a run up the road but that's mainly to make sure its all ok before I venture back out on track.

When it's actually warm outside and your sick of sorting house stuff out you may get the itch again jazoli.

And to the other guy don't worry about the speed of the rides people always wait at any junction and if you don't want to over take something then don't be tempted to follow. Just do your own thing and you'll have a good day. No one will ever be left to get lost. Just don't ride behind yazza as his bike sheds pieces from time to time.

Similar here. I think my bike will be going for its service in the back of the van.
