I pottered around the peak district on Sunday late morning, early afternoon, at my pace. Was lovely.

Literally got home and saw Ric's whatsapp.

Will probably have a pootle out tomorrow night depending on what the weather is doing.

Still at GetGeared but I became warehouse manager as of last week as the previous person left unexpectedly. Im not sure how long I will do it for though as I've been offered the shop managers job as well. Got to wait and see what they are offering for both jobs and decide which works best for me. At least with the warehouse I will get my weekends back.

Its hard to place a monetary value on something like weekends off.
I have always worked them until last year when I negotiated every other weekend off, its great now!

Yes was a good day out, some fun spirited riding to be had, all day in the saddle and no aches and pains, enjoying the SV thou, its a great road bike with enough grunt to keep things interesting, plus you can give it a bit of a thrashing and not do 160mph everywhere, it was good to see the usual suspects again and meet a couple of new faces too, hopefully there'll be a few more rides out this year.
