Just had a google of the essex bike show at north weald airstrip, looks like it might be good plus supports the air ambulance so that's always a good thing. If the weather turns out to be good I'm hoping to go

That could be the issue - The forecast looks dire

Yeah it does, but it's early in the week so things might change (I doubt it though, it was forcast to rain on saturday for a week in advance and sure as the sun rises each morning it pissed down)


Fingers crossed though, because I've wanted to visit north weald airstrip for the last few weeks since I was told it has a nice cafe there.

Do you folk have a regular meet-up? or is it all sort of on the fly? I live in north london (enfield area)

I went to the North Weald meet approx three years ago but found it a bit lame so haven't bothered since.

I'm meeting a few mates at the Ace Cafe on Sunday for a long overdue catchup. If anyone facies a bit of breakfast and then a possible ride into Essex they would be more than welcome to tag along. I'll be passing the Oakdean around 8.30 for a 10:00 breakfast

Weather is looking good so if you do fancy a ride out let me know Saturday evening and we'll meet up. There will be three of us riding into London from West Kingsdown and a few others are going to meet us there. After commuting during the week I love a blast though London on a Sunday morning.
