I have loaded it onto and off the trailer a number of times on my own but this time when I undid the ratchet strap from the rear wheel as normal it fired the bike the other way and it landed on it's side and bent the left rotor in the process!
I had interesting brakes for the day.
Won't be doing that again.
At least your day ended better than mine....grumpy

Sorry but I did find it funny that you filled your bike with grass and came in a turfing companies van.

Always best to get a hand. I sure as he'll do. Christ I get people to load it for me ha.

Seriously though next time even if it's a stranger
Exactly what loon said. It was bloody daft and I will always grab someone in the future.

Yep clen, unlucky today but the bike didn't look to bad and you looked ok. Good to meet you though!

So come on, lets have an end of day report, who went turnip picking? what did Loon manage to beg? did Yazza get any faster? did Tom make a lot of folk look silly on an old 'Ace? details pleas.

Loon blagged a fireblade, which then split its radiator. Then loon sat on my bike, I then went head first into a tyre wall in the next session. I'm blaming loon.
yazza slid off after forgetting he was on cold tyres after working on the bike, no real damage though.
Tom was going well, didn't look out of place at all in fast group.

I'm really nervous about croft now. These pistonheads days seem to end in carnage. Except tom. Who just seems to be getting better and better.

Nice to see some of you lot again and to meet some others.

Clen its my fault as he was showing me what to do laugh

From the pit wall I was thinking aye lad you've got him here, big cloud of smoke bike all over the show, It looked like you were going to stay on it and run around the grass then splosh. You looked to be going well. Unlucky really but at least you are ok and the bike wasn't to bad.

Best send some grass seed to Jonathan Palmer.

Ah hi mate, didn't realise it was you that I was speaking to.
Thanks, I felt like I was improving but then tried a bit too hard and that happened. There was a bike in between me and yazza and I was trying to get past him to stick with yazza.
It was stupid really, if I kept a level head I could probably have settled the bike and just ran wide on the grass. Inexperience I suppose

Been watching my videos back and made good progress again. Down to 1:58's now which I'm happy with given I started at 2:08's 5 track days ago. I don't really understand how but I'm finding 2-3 seconds each day. I don't imagine it'll last much longer though.

Much more consistency this time round being in the right group. No real issues with traffic so was able to get my head down and concentrate.

Having the shock release all of its oil wasn't great and the back end was a bit bouncy but looking at the video didn't affect times too much. Both ends need sorting as under braking the back was in the air quite a lot making corner entry interesting.

Here's a video of the second session, the White bike in front was hebegb;
