I'm happy to do the custard test, progress is slow now though as all the gym work is building muscle, didn't like being fat and 40 smile

Nowt wrong with that fella smile

I'm nearly 40 as well hence try to take care of myself. I'm lucky that I'm very active so don't need to do gym work.

Pisses the wife off mind who is a gym freak biggrin ...

Trouble with muscle building is gaining weight so make sure you've lost the fat first ... Low intensity is best for this otherwise once you've stopped training you will go fat again quickly ...

A lot of people make the mistake of training too hard for fat loss ... Keep your heart rate in the right zone.

I think it's the ginger gene that weighs a lot. I've only met Ryan once and he didn't look like a chunk and I wouldn't call myself a string bean but I wouldn't say I'm fat and I flutter between 95-100kg. The ginger gene has evolved to be heavy and powerful after decades of abuse.

I weighed 12.5st from the age of 20 through to 40. Then I became a powerfully built director and spent all my time talking, eating and drinking. It piled on in no time

Yeah I spent from 20 to 28 at the gym trying to be like all the big kids. Went from 10.5 stone to 16 and now I want to loose it all again as I cant be arsed gyming everyday and actually want to feel healthy for once rather than weazy and achy all the time. Trouble is running/cycling/swimming and climbing takes so much more effort than an hour in the gym grunting and rolling things around.
Moanthebairns I hate people like you. I had a small packet of sweets after my tea. I'll of gained half a stone overnight now.
