Not long to go now until the new bike gets christened

I've just checked the weather and fingers crossed, we could be in for a dry one http://www.myweather2.com/Motor-Racing/United-King...

I swapped the fairings over last week for the slightly damaged 2nd set I got, 4.5 minutes to strip completely, 10.5 mins to put back (sad I know)

Tyres should arrive tomorrow, carbon frame protectors on their way, sliders to be fitted and double bubble screen should arrive Friday.

A couple of nights in the garage now just to get everything together ready for the first outing of the year

I thought that I would start a separate thread just so the other one doesn't get blocked up with photos

Fingers crossed! Looking forward to meeting a few other faces from here.
Bike is almost ready after a couple of minor issues, just got to drop the oil and put fresh in and its good to go.
Going to be tough sharing the track with someone as awesome as yazza though.

Mine still looks like this....

Hopefully have all my bits ready by Friday to go back on, but I'll just be running scruffy unpainted fairings!

Have fun Tony!

Be interesting to know your thoughts having upgraded from a sheddy olde R1 to modern stuff. Will it just be faster or faster AND more fun?

Hope the bike is everything you hope for Tony. Will try pop down for a gander but very unlikely at the moment.

I suspect I won't see which way he went!

I'm looking forward to fast group. I think I'll be happier with people coming past and not getting caught in traffic a lot.

I didn't realise you'd provide company as well.

Does it have captive spacers?

(Probably does ...)

Yus please oh lovely gingery Scottish love God

It does have captive spacers and has the same type as locator on the brake set up as the R1, but just seemed more of a handful

PS. It is on, it was just a right game

I really need to check that my bikes will be delivered on Saturday to the track. As you can see I've spent hours in the garage preparing for this whistle
