Jordan's bikes in Leeds are doing another mini Moto race night in May.

Tom you up for it again?

Think there's the same lads going as last time except Dan as it cost him 500 quid last time and he was sore for a while.

I've wanted to have a go at mini Moto racing for ages, must be such good fun! But I reckon 100 miles after work would be a bit much in rush hour traffic

bloody hell that seems cheap. Not cheap with the 4 tanks of fuel it'd take though hehe

Unless you took Monday off work, ride in the peaks/moors all weekend then finish up with a little race :thumb up:

What do you get for £49 ?

More importantly can a 6ft not so young and flexible bloke fit on a mini moto ?

You get some practice, then they do heats. I believe it was something like 12 years last time and you get about 4 races I think. After that they split everyone into 1 of 3 races for some finals.

As for fitting on them, no one does, it's just a case of getting yourself squashed on as best you can.

It's so much fun though and there are some spectacular crashes.

49 quid get you a full evening racing. I went last time kind of expecting it to be not a lot of time on the bike but I was happily surprised.I think it was 7 or 8 heats/races with mixed people. The way it was mixed meant you were rarely off the bike 15minutes. It's a right laugh and i imagine it's very similar value to go karting although I've never been.

Also I'm 6ft 15.5 stone and can't even nearly touch my toes and it's a ball ache at first but once you get the knack it's not too bad.

Its a right laugh and some good elbow to elbow racing and good to see your mates crash aswell

I might pop round to have a look, it would be rude not to as that's 10 minutes from work!

Looks great fun, I'll see if I can get a few mates interested and come along. Slightly concerned about it costing someone £500 though, what's the story there?

What would you fellas recommend to wear ? Take it they just give you some overalls to put on ?

Just wondering if its worth wearing my biking jeans, hopefully the padding might save my knees a little when I fall off biggrin

Wear leathers if you have them.

Came off my blata ten years ago on a wet white line in a car park and hit s volvo door.

I wore a bike jacket under overalls and their knee pad/sliders.

I definitely wouldn't want to wear leathers although Tim did. It's hard enough riding them never mind making it even more uncomfortable.

I defo wont be wearing my leathers they aren't worn in yet, I will struggle enough sitting on one without leathers on.

Im looking forward to this now should be a good laugh.
