It is loads of fun. I'm going to stick the go pro on I think. Just to try and catch a spectacular crash.

leathers were fine for me as id lost a fair bit of weight over winter so my leathers werent very tight. Ive since put it all back on and now i can barely scratch my arse in them let alone contort myself into the pretzel shape needed to ride one of those.
dont wear bike boots though and definitly wear old shoes. it took a couple of sessions to figure out where to put my feet and in the two were i had my feet wrong i ruined my shoes by dragging them. Once theyre on properly they shouldnt scrape though.

Gutted i cant go to this now i remember how much i was laughing at the last one. Enjoy guys and try get some videos.

Yeah me and my brother in law are going. He hasn't ridden a mini moto before so it should be amusing!

Great stuff. None of us have ridden one either! Are they clutchless autos like rental karts, or normal bike gears?

Just twist and go. You'll have enough on your plate trying to get on it never mind change gears!

Haha perfect. We should have a few GoPros between us to record the carnage.

Just put mine on so that's sorted. Looking forward to it, I think they're running the opposite way round this time so whatever I learnt from last time will make bugger all difference.

This was awesome like the first time. Got some spectacular crashes on video so I'll post them up.

I finished 10th out of 36 which I thought was good. Graham beat me though with a 7th. I did manage the 10th fastest lap time though.

Managed to crash on my own like a retard at the end. Think I lost out on second place in this race.

Absolutely brilliant fun.

I had a couple of offs. Once hitting someone with my knee while passing the guy moved over and the slightest of touches we were both off. The other was because my foot lifted the bike up off the floor. 2 crashes and 2 mid pack finnishes put me in the C final but did had by my best run in that.

It's dam near impossible to get your feet on the foot rests correctly but when you do the bikes go well. A lot faster than I was expecting to.

The bikes

What a great night! I was expecting it to be fun, but it was just so much better than I imagined!

The bikes were plenty quick enough to be scary and I didn't feel like I reached its potential, much more so than rental karts that you usually get at these sort of tracks.

I smashed my knee a bit by clipping a barrier when passing someone, but I'm still walking and I managed to finish 7th overall as mentioned.

Can't wait for the next one!
