Mrs Redback911 ordered a set of Spidi leathers. It took 2-3 weeks as they do not carry her size and had to be ordered from Spidi Italy. She was notified by FC-MOTO and everything arrived in perfect condition. She would have brought in the UK but no one carried the model and smaller sizes in the UK.

Bought an Alpinestars leather jacket in Feb. Courier delivered 4-5 days later. Can't complain tbh, considering the money saved. With Sterling so strong you guys must be laughing.

Still waiting on a replacement helmet, apparently shipped on Thursday, a week free sending the old one back. So slow at emailing back.

This just popped into my head - but when looking for some boring rain gear for commuting, I came across a glut of Italian store/websites similar to FC moto. Google only found them as I was searching for Spidi gear.

I have no idea if they are any good (seems to be 3 major ones - most of the website are pretty poor quality) but prices seem to varying degrees to be cheaper than FC moto or the other German sites.

I ordered a new textile Spidi jacket as it was pretty cheap (last sat april 11th) so we'll see if it ever turns up ! site was motostorm - thought id share as hve never seen these outlets before.

I recall seeing a few before I bought my Astars suit from FC.

Some seem a bit iffy with the cheap prices and basic websites, but then a lot of the brands are Italian, German etc. so it's probably easier for them to sell the gear at reasonable prices as they're not dealing with importing stock and exchange rates..

Just have to be a bit smart about it, I made sure to pay by credit card with FC Moto, as the Euro to Sterling rate was good and they assured me protection if the shop didn't deliver.

Saved a good £150.

Yep - I picked the website that looked the most professional, it said they had stock of what I had ordered and would be dispatched within 2 days..... we'll see, only 300 quid - not the end of the world.

I've bought new 2 piece leathers from them in past week. Delivered within 7 days. No complaints. Must have saved around £200 over local shops.

I ordered a jacket on the 1st nov 17 which was posted on the 8th nov 17, a DHL tracking number was given which didn’t exist. After sometime I was told they would investigate and subsequently was promised a refund which hasn’t happened. This has been going on for over a month now and I’ve resigned myself to never seeing a jacket or refund. In all the years of internet shopping I can quite honestly say I’ve never experienced this sort of shambolic service and only hope PayPal will recover my money.

Not the best intro but he did use the search function smile
Charge back through credit card or bank would seem a simple solution if PayPal won't help.

I remember buying a held suit when the euro wa at 1.4 to the pound. Plus I got 30% off. Practically stole it.

Who buys online without a credit card anyway.

Bought some A*s trousers from them. Ordered 26/11 with the website quoting 5 to 7 working days for dispatch. They were eventually dispatched on 13/12 and I got them today. My only real greivance is that they ignored the couple of emails I sent them asking what was happening once they'd gone past the expected sending date.
