Rumours in the press about Rossi doing Suzuka this year now as well. This will turn into the Rossi+Casey show which is no bad thing.

Is Suzuka televised live, or just highlights?

Seems CS wanted to ride Dani's bike this weekend . He said it would've been an honour to ride to replace Dani.
Bummer I'm not racing, no prep was needed as I wasn't planning on winning, just replacing a good friend he said.

Wonder why things didn't work out?
I would imagine as it's a good reward for up and coming wild card riders who actually want to be in the sport properly. Giving it to Stoner, watching him come nowhere (not lack of talent, but familiarity and set-up of 2015 bikes) and then bh about the bike is probably not top of Honda's want list. Good feather in their cap to have him for endurance racing, but not MotoGP in my view.

Stoner test rides the current GP bikes for Honda. Given he used to just get one and wring its neck then he could easily do the same with the current bike.

Well yes, if they'd given the ride to an upcoming rider then I'd agree but Aoyama is riding it. He's been in and out of MGP for five years and not set the world alight. I disagree about CS finishing nowhere though. He may well not have won but he'd be much closer to the front (IMO anyways) He's done a bit of testing for HRC over the past couple of years.

Guess we'll never know for sure but it's a shame things couldn't come together.

Things didn't work out because its probably no more than a soundbite

Rossi has said he'd be I retested in doing it again, but has ruled it out for this year.

The race isn't normally televised, but they usually have a live stream online.
