To me the speed isnt a big issue. Id go as far as to say most people with big cc bikes have done similar speeds at some point on the road. The thing that makes the guy an idiot is the general manner of his driving. Doing that speed in moderately heavy traffic is a bit stupid and the constant lane changing at speed is asking for an accident.

I've seen the local paper and it has a photoshopped plod with speed gun in the same pic as the rider going through traffic. And a faked 148 on the speed gun.

I hate this sort of lie. Plod did 148 to catch up, presumably safely...

For info, when I've been in law abiding mode and not lane splitting, I've had more near misses due to inattentive drivers than when powering through gaps.
