FFS....just enjoy your bikes instead of trying to split the fking atom
Haha. No. I have a hard enough time figuring out why I can lean off better to the left than the right.

Does the angle of dangle come into play?

I don't, never have done, never will do. I'm just amazed that people claim to think about this stuff or do ot

It goes with everything.
I have done a whole 3 track days and have had endless people telling me what I need from tyres to tyre warmers, vans instead of trailers, upside down forks and on and on and on. It's crazy. I should be in this gear, lean off a certain amount, counter steering and weighting the pegs.

When I am on track I mainly try to look as far ahead as I can.

That's about it really.

Yes. One of the first things I learnt road riding, use it when mountain biking (don't stare at what you don't want to hit because you will hit it!).

I don't think about it when I'm riding, just wanted to understand the theory behind it. I would imagine for some top flight racers they are always looking for that bit extra. Taking my foot of the peg when at maximum(for me)lean is the last thing I'll be trying!

I feel the need to point out I bear no responsibility for the outcome of you trying to get a pic of your head down.

Been trying to find a pic of what I was talking about when I started this thread but drawing a blank

I have one of me sliding down the track on my arse after falling off someone else's bike, My head isn't quite on the ground though.

I do sometimes yes.

I know I'm crap on a bike compared to a lot of other riders & I'd like to know why. For me the first stage to improving is knowing what I should be doing, because then I know what I'm doing wrong.

As for actually weighting pegs, I put more pressure on the outside peg just because it jams my knee into the tank better so I feel more secure on the bike.

Mmm a quick Google-fu doesn't bring up much!

Another FZR 600 sliding at Cadwell though:
