Gwyn I just feel like I need it a little stiffer when pushing on some! Hyperpro do a reactive damper which I like the look of hopefully it will work like the one on my old fireblade!
I get what you mean, I actually didn't think it had one when I first rode it as you're right it does like to waggle it's head a bit. Though I quite like that traitsteve954 said:
Ouch! How much were they? Round the £300 mark I've heard.
Yeah I paid £270, with a little (very!) discount when I bought my bike. If I hadn't bought the BMW ones, I probably would have gone for the EvoTec ones. Still folding and look a bargain for £110.

Yeah I had evo tech on my last bike and they were good and just folded up how they were meant to in a crash!
On a side note I managed to ride my commute home last night without hitting the trip button once when flicking from high to low beam!!!
Ah yeah, I didn't know how to flick between when I first went out at night! haOn a side note I managed to ride my commute home last night without hitting the trip button once when flicking from high to low beam!!!
Got a radiator and oil cooler guard - guy who races makes them for £30 delivered.

Sorry I don't know how to flip!

I've seen those! How do they fit on? I'm not to keen on radiator guards due to the warranty issues but if they are easy removed I may pay out for a set! More so just for the oil cooler!
What warranty issues?? I don't believe the fitment of a radiator guard would invalidate the bikes warranty? As for saving stone damage and possible breakdown due to same they're invaluable. Wouldn't ride without one...

That's what I was told about fitting guards (warranty invalidated), so didn't fit them but couldn't you just quickly remove them if there was a problem? As for saving stone damage and possible breakdown due to same they're invaluable. Wouldn't ride without one...

I didn't know that about warranty issues, seems crazy logic to me (especially as my local dealer sells them too). Unless the claim was in some way related to over heating, BMW would have a fight on their hands. Same with slip ons and the like, real world I'd like to see them prove it. Regardless, it'd take you 30 seconds to remove them.
The radiator guard is concave so presses in, so in theory you shouldn't need lock wire - but I have anyway. It fits in pretty well, and pushes against the side frame of the radiator.
The oil cooler guard I have lock wired, that's necessary as it is flat. It's ever so slightly bigger than the oil cooler itself, so that it's mainly mesh covering the fins and not the edging of the guards.
They are basic, but you can get them painted and customised if you want. The mesh holes are pretty large, so any air flow reduction will be minimal.
