Well I adjusted the sag inline with what you said. Sadly I couldn't get 35 mm as it's almost at the top of the thread on the shock.
It's sat at 30 for the road which has lowered it about 5-10 mm
I now can touch my feet on the floor without tip toeing. And I'm not a short arse. I'm not a green giant I'm 5ft 10
I'll fk about with it at croft

I don't have a front Paddock stand that goes into the yoke so can't lift the front. I've went with triumphs recommendation for the sag on that.
Hopefully I can borrow one on Monday but I really need to buy one.

So what did they do? Did they provide you with the before and after settings?
Knew this would get asked and I knew I should have listened more. In a nut shell there was talk on compression sag and dampening. Tape measures, lots of figures being written on a note pad, adjusting, me sitting on bike, more tape measures, calculations and adjusting. The bike now feels sharper handling and tips in a lot easier, more comfortable on bumpy roads, I'm not having my arse catapulted out the seat now.
L1 zxr 400 was the bike.
Went here in Dunmow http://www.raceengineering.info

Mick Grant did my suspension and it was great. Trackday at Donnington and for £20 he set the sag and then listened to your description of what was happening everytime you came in. He then adjusted it as many times as you wanted (and came in)! Well worth it and MICK GRANT did your suspension!
Cracking...

I later found out that the manufacturer lists settings for your weight. Just Google it or see the handbook. I was pretty much there when I went to adjust it myself.
You've said this before but I can't see anything in the manual based on weight, and can't turn up anything from a reputable source online. Can you point me in the right direction please?

'I don't suppose the cbr ffffff has adjustable suspension as it's a piece of horticultural st '
It was just banter I can't help but feel that implying I'm poor because of my choice of bike is a bit of a low blow.
As my salary is objective quite respectable, I'll just assume that was a bit of a misfire and not take offence.
