how the hell did lowes end up on that anyway. maybe promised a seat in moto gp in the future ? talent certainly warrants something better than that old bus.

Is it Steve Day the commentator that Eurosport have this weekend? Why can't he get Leon Haslam's name right?!! Last week he commentated on the second Aragon race and every second word was "Has-lim". He was obviously told by James Hayden off mic as he apologised at the end of the race, but now commentating at Assen he's gone OTT the other way and is now calling him "Has-slam". shoot

Rea top job in race1 - I'm sure at the end of the year once he's WSB Champ he'll be once again kicking himself for sticking with Honda for so long.

Great WSS race.. esp the last corner smile

Another epic race, just a shame that Ducati doesn't have that tiny bit more power!

Van Der Mark is brilliant to watch, flinging the Honda around!

That was annoying me last time as well but it's paled into insignificance compared to the parish-isms.

Takes off like a shot dog? What the feck are you talking about. I've never shot a dog but I'd imagine it stopping dead. Are we talking about a pellet gun? Why am I thinking so much about this? Just talk sense Steve.

I actually seen him at the Scottish motor bike show and was going to go over and talk to him but felt like a sell out because all I do is bang on about how much I can't stand listening to him.

And is he watching the race as well? I think he glances at the screen every five minutes.

Sorry, had to get that off my chest.

Yep that's the bloke. As well as having a passing knowledge of the sport in question, getting names of competitors roughly correct should be a given for any decent commentator especially when they're British and have one of the most famous surnames in bike racing!
