How much difference does a fairing make?

I think riding a nuda 900 has made my neck grow and improved my grip endurance..

Above 60mph you turn into a sail, when youre closer to double that it becomes strenuous just to hold on.

I rode to Hungary from Rotterdam in a day last year - about 850 miles on an SV1000, and didn't feel exhausted at the end of it. A large part of it was the Autobahn at c. 100-120mph and if I'm honest, then only sore part was my arse at the end of it!
I think that a lot is down to overall fitness, good core strength helps!
I admit however that my girlfriend's ZZR1100 would have make a better bike for the task though...
