Why is it always the nice sunny days?

When you get stuck at the side of the road.

New To me KTM RC8.

Love it, having a blast then it decided to have side stand "issues".

Now left me stranded at the side of the road :/.

It just went dead while riding and will only restart in neutral. Drop it in to gear, it switches off.

It did this the other day then fixed itself, now it's doing it again. Arghhh.

No idea if this is the same on the Ktm, but on some bikes you can short circuit the sensor enough to get you home. Coin or something across the contacts.

Did an ECU reset at the side of the road. (Thank god for 3G) Then it worked.
Not sure if it was because of what I did or if it chose to work itself.

Managed to get home and swapped for my trusty commuter versys out for a wangle instead. I'll hopefully soft it.
