I've got a road registered kx500 I bought on a whim for £500. Can't remember how long I've had it, must be between 10 and 15 years. Never rode it... got it home, picked at a lump of something on the bottom of the engine and all the oil came out. It's now in bits around the place. One day I'll put it back together... possibly.

Got an electronic drumkit kicking around somewhere that jack daniels made me buy on ebay too.

Well done. Looks tidy enough. Will it just be for fiddling with and pissing around on?

Oh yes.

TY250 because I thought doing trials would be good. Took it up the woods, erm, twice I think.

GT250 because, erm GT250. And because two-stroke. I did get that sorted and ride it a few times but I got bored hovering my clutch hand over the lever all the time.

R1100RT because, well, I'd never had a tourer. That wasn't too bad actually. Probably the reason I've just bought an R1200RT.

Matchless G5 because I wanted a bike born in the same year as me. Still got that. MOT ran out 2 years ago but I might do something about that soon.

I'm sure there are more. Including a Fleegler.

Woke yesterday and thought, 'fancy a bike again'. Put a 2k limit into ebay and searched distance first. This was the second bike in the results: -

Went to view at 2pm. Bought, insured, taxed and was riding it around wales a few hours later. Cracking bike!

Not so much for the hell of it, usually with a view to fixing/servicing/polishing then flogging on again.

In the last month I have bought:

Tiger 800xc for a mate of my bro in law in Czech Republic,
Daytona 955 with minor accident damage,
Sprint 955, scruffy but fsh and full luggage,
Vespa LX125 with a bust ignition and steering lock,
Yamaha XJ6s with scrapes down one side.

My garage is overflowing...

I wouldn't mind doing some of this over winter just to give me something to do. Do you just hope you can find parts on ebay etc ?
