Decent waterproof backpack

I know you're sorted OP, but when you want to get a proper replacement - another vote for Kriega here. I use the new R30 and it's excellent; the straps are very cleverly arranged so that the weight doesn't fall on your shoulders. A couple of weeks ago in Belgium I rode in the worst rain I've ever been in; it was thundering, lightning, roads like a river. All my stuff in my R30 was dry as a bone.
I paid the premium and went for the Kreiga R30. Best money I have ever spent. Done 20,000 miles in it, all weathers, it's spacious and really comfortable. Most importantly the main compartment is totally waterproof.
Mine needs a wash with some proofer to make sure the other bits remain water resistant after 3 years, but I would buy another again. I am actually considering buying a R20 for a day to day rucksack off the bike.

In the R25's defence it only leaks when it's proper heavy rain.
Agreed... I've used one for 7yrs in all kinds of weather. In that time it has only leaked once and that was in monsoon weather with water flowing across the roads ... even then it didn't affect the contents as they were still dry. Just the inside of the rucksack was slightly damp.As an all-rounder it is superb.
Although these days I use a Kreiga US10 or US20 which is 100% waterproof and saves carry stuff on your shoulders.
Need some actual waterproofs now.
I have some waterproof boots, they're not the best sports boots but for the TT they'll probably fare better than my Alpinestars which are heavily ventilated.
As I've only got leathers I'm looking at an oversuit, this seems good VFM and the reviews are favourable, any comments?

I use a kreiga R35. Its generally nice and waterproof but I have been known to use a wet sack when carrying my laptop to work, just in case!
It isn't designed as waterproof. The R30 is the only waterproof rucksack in the Kreiga range. It also isn't as good a rucksack as the R35.
I have the R35 and a waterproof liner.
