The exhaust noise isn't what damages your hearing, it's the wind noise on the helmet. Can't say i have any issue never have ringing in the ears as the lid is quite quiet and exhaust exits way back ... although it is pretty loud!

That is outrageous. Also, get Fleegle to fit a quick shifter. It is such a giggle on track, you will love it. It's not about speed, you will just love changing gearNeed to get one for mine. Everyone said no it will shag your chocolate gearbox but I love riding with one now.

Never changed gear without pulling in the clutch
Clutch less gear shifts (going up the box) are very straightforward. Just before you want to change up apply light pressure to the gear lever, throttle off and the next gear should slip in place. I hadn't been doing clutch less shifts but read about the technique about 3 months back. Followed the instructions and found it pretty easy after a little bit of practice. Of course, a few weeks after that I swapped the bike for one with a quickshifter!!!Never changed gear without pulling in the clutch
Never had black pudding! How can you have a proper fried breakfast without black pudding!!

I know, my helmet is fairly quiet and i rarely get above 60mph where i ride which helps keep noise levels down.I do need to start wearing plugs, and I also intend to replace my lid this year with a schuberth C3 when funds permit!
