Good skills from this lad as he managed to ride the bucking bronco for a decent amount of time !

Probably hoping it would disengage the gears so he could coast to a halt

I'm not proud to say I did that on the autoroute in France on my SRAD a couple of summers ago, I tied a jumper I had been wearing to my rack whilst waiting for the ferry at Dover, then forgot about it until it jumped into the rear wheel at 90ish...

Whilst not travelling as fast as this chap, I was lucky to keep it upright...lesson learnt

My old man had the front brake linings in a drum brake become detached on a bike in the sixties, when he was doing about 50mph.

It locked the front wheel but somehow he stayed on!

We had a wheel bearing break up in the front wheel of a bike in Ireland. My brother had done around 600 miles on the bike in four days, over some very, very dodgy roads with drops down mountains. Luckily though, when we were pushing the bike up the ramp into the van at the end of the event, the front wheel locked. It was absolutely solid and we had to carry the front of the bike to get it into and out of the van and onto the workbench. One of those things that makes you shudder, had it locked up a few thousand rotations earlier!

How stupid of Honda not to put the redline on the rev counter a bit further round the dial.......he wouldn't have blown it up that way

I've just watched that without sound. But I love the victory dance at the end and that other people are coming to join him.

Lucky.

I had a ratty Yamaha TZR125 when I was 17 that seized at about 80mph on the motorway. I skidded for a few metres but got the clutch in and came to a stop. Can't imagine being so lucky at those speeds!

Following the theme of locked wheels, here our hero attempts to stop from 120mph using only the back brake. He covers the front when he realises the lights are red, but doesn't seem to use it.

Impressive he kept it upright tbh!

Love the title of the video as well, did a car driver name it?!

All whilst wearing a natty pair of skin coloured gloves! Only only shame is there won't be any organs left to donate when he piles in...

Some serious control on the first video, I would of certainly binned that instantly. Also is just me hearing things or when he jumps back up does he say "I'm ok", serious commitment.
