Mutt 125 here

Expensive though considering it started off as a HMC classic at £1500. Aren't Mutts around £2500?

I have classic bikes around me and an 89 DT125R or DT200R will go through the doorways in the house but you dont push it straight through, you need to get it on full lock then bump it past the first handle bar.
The MK1 LC is retro cooler. DT200LC based on the MK2 125 or MTX200R based on the 125 are very willing bikes and getting collectable. It's got to be a 2-stroke whatever you choose smile

As no one has mentioned it yet I would recommend a Honda MSX125.

I've got a MSX125 and it is great fun. Would be ideal for a motorhome!

Like the earlier poster, I also lift the back end of mine up to move it around the garage because they're very light.

biggrin

Good call, apart from the previous 7 mentions of the MSX125 on page 1 including the OP saying he agreed and had arranged a visit to the local Honda dealer....

And yes I am feeling grumpy today smile

If you don't go for the MSX 125 can I suggest the Honda Grom? Or one of those modern-day monkey bike things.

I am thinking of getting a 125cc bike that fits in the garage of my motorhome.

The garage is high and long, but the door is only 1 metre wide. The main issue is it is quite high and I will need to ramp or lift the bike into the garage. Also, as it's the other side of the axel, weight is an issue for that too.

I have considered the following

Honda Wave - not very cool
Suzuki Van Van - Kinda cool, but used by girls a lot
Monkey Bike - I can not decide if this is cool or stupid looking
DT125 - super cool, always wanted one of these when I was younger, but I dont think the handlebars will fit through the door.

Anyone have any others worth throwing in the mix?
My parents when for a peugeot (http://www.peugeotscooters.co.uk/peugeot-scooters-detail.php/Speedfight-3-50cc-1/) which comes in at under 100kg, as an unrestricted 50cc as weight limit on the motorhome precluded the extra weight of a 125 if the water tank was full & clothes loaded etc, fully laden it would exceed the allowable weight limit if put on a weighbridge. Depends on your chassis. HTH

Honda Grom as others say are good.

what motorhome is it, Im looking for one with a big garage for a bike!

Someone posted the caterham electric bike. Have a look on ebay / net for place in Banbury Oxfordshire that does high end electric bike conversions. They do a full suspension high end mountain bike with an 84volt li on battery driving a 3500w brushless motor that reportedly does 50mph! But they also do lower end stuff with 48v etc.

May be worth considering for weight etc, although will depend on the charging facilities you have on the 'home.

Was camping with the good lady a long time ago in the South of France and a Dutch couple rocked up next to us in one if these very neat Hymer motorhome. Not huge mind but with a big enough garage to fit an original (750) MV Agusta F4 in it.

Just saying. wink

If you just want to putter around looking cool then how about a custom-style bike, say a 125 Eliminator?

Or a Honda MSX125... whistle
