Any idea is a good idea at times like these. I am really saddened by what I've read and if it's worse, I'll be really disappointedA
I've seen what's on facebook only and though it doesn't look good, I suspect there could be 2 outcomes.
Option 1) People get off their arse and show some support for the club. It will be a shame if this does not happen. I suspect lots of people will have decided to leave it as late as possible/check weather/bike repairs (for a lot of them less than 2 weeks since the Snetterton round - 6 hour Endurance for some) and the organisers have decdided not to take the financial risk with a low level of income committed. If people really care and want the club, they'll be prepared to take the small amount of risk (<£300) compared to the large risks & costs the clubs take. Knowing a few racers as I do, I would not bet on this scenario unless there's a massive public show of support from a large number of people.
Option 2) It'll be shortly followed by formal winding up proceedings unless the club can be sold.
No Limits have set up their racing series 2014 and from what I saw 1st hand are offering a different experience. I also saw a lot of people I knew/recognised at Donington. Seems like there's strong competition and too few customer in the market at the moment. I think the circuit owners also should take heed as I know some of the costs & terms are pretty hard to swallow.

The 750's & 1000's will go to NLR (6 have joined today) A
The 600 nutters will split equally between NLR & TSGB at a guess.

There must be beginner/novice race classes. we have a few here so I'd think you'll have no shortage in the UK.Be warned, it's a very slippery slope.....

As much as everyone hopes it's Option 1, the announce,met over the rest of the season being suspended and the silence from Hottrax, other than the one official announcement does suggest Option 2 is what will happen. However, it's less likely to be winding up at this early stage, there'll be negotiations with creditors to see if a deal can be struck, even a fire sale, or the offer of someone else stepping in and taking over. Sadly, neither of those is likely when customers (aka racers) are already heading off to other clubs and simultaneously being there ld nothing. In some ways they've been architects of their own downfall with too many classes and either being too competitive, or ironically not competitive enough. The former is whe grids were too large so people quit when they realised they were just going to lose at each race, the latter where the top tema swerve throwing money at pro racers to buy them a title.

tnweather this won't have helped either. What's strange is that two race series have survived the 7 year recession and then folded as we come out of it!
