Can't be that many. I've only put fuel in the bike once this year.

You're the Chuck Norris of BB, shouldn't that be 300.000 miles so far Andy.

About 500 all in so far

Around 150 on the Enfield and 350 on the new Tracer (but I have only had it just over a week biggrin)

I plan on around 6000 miles this year all in on the new bike

About 150-200 miles on the road bike, I actually think I've done more miles on my track bike! Those have been one track day (pointless), back and forth to MOT and a couple of quick blasts.

Weather and opportunity mainly - if it's been nice out going on my bike isn't always top of my list. I used it to commute on one day and some knobber cracked my screen.

I've got a car so no need to get everywhere soaked to the bone and freezing cold.
Snap! Done about 600miles on mine since I got it at the end of April. Not been out in the rain yet with it (ended up like a drown rat after riding the 125 in the wet so I use the car on days like today).

About 500 I think, only taxed it from start of May though. Got a thousand-miler around Scotland coming up soon plus an invite to our friends' place near Limoges but not sure if I can wangle enough holiday to ride down there.

About five miles this year so far, just to the MOT station and back.

I'll hold the traffic up once the weather is nicer.

Like Loon, I have a car and van to save getting wet and cold.

Motorcycling is for fine dry days, when one can actually enjoy doing it.

The weather really hasn't been that bad. Stop using it as an excuse and get out there.

When I've not been working it has been cold and/or wet, therefore not motorcycling weather.

Shhhhh

I want more of these people. Just so it's easier to find a nice low mileage bike when I come to change biggrin

I've done more miles in a weekend than my bike did the last 4 years.

I only passed my test in dec and bought a fzs600 (year 2000) funny enough the same day. I did over 3500 miles from early dec-mid match when 1 changed to a 2011 xj6 diversion. Since then I have rode over 3000 miles
. I only use the bike at the weekends and tend to do full day rides that cover over 250 miles affair sort of thing.
Every ride out even on roads I have drove hundreds of times is like a new road on the bike.
Plan on doing the whole Ireland coast next month and the Scotland coast in septeber if not sooner.

  • Ireland coast will be a 2 night/3 day lets just do it trip of 300-400 miles per day staying in tent or cheap b&b
  • scotland trip will be a hopefully 5 night almost dander taking in the roads, sights and nightcaps.
  • * I still use the car for getting to work, the weekly shop, the trip to the inlaws etc, But before I used to do a average of 7-8000 miles per year in the car I still average the same but I now go out on the bike and every miles a bonus.
  • ** Give me a summer and I will be a fair weather rider. I am just getting this in early now so next year I can post something daft like 0 miles over non summer months looked like rain and I got a car. I qualify but I am just a little early.

I've done about 700 so far, over half of them on one day, crippled now, won't be doing many more on the current bike.
What are you going to get this time round?
hehe Something big soft and comfortable, sportsbikes on the road for me aren't working anymore, just too painful with the issues I have, the GSXR is a great bike but the pegs are too high and too far back, it can currently be found on eBay if anyone is looking for a well sorted 750 SRAD wink

I'm all weather on the scooter, but for the fair weather bikes.

New Blade - 750 miles - would have been more but in for repairs due to BMW.

1198 - 350 miles.

Actually been a cracking spring really. If it wasn't for shooting and family commitments more would have been done. No Euro trip this year, so reckon I'll do about 2500 overall, not counting the commuter bike.

I've done a couple of thousand miles so far, that's a mix of playing out and commuting, however new job role forces use of the car daily, so don't think I will be adding much more to it this year, so I am now part of the FWB club.
