It was so sunny and warm here tonight I nearly went out on my bike, but didn't !

70 miles down and back to Leek through Wilmslow, Macclesfield etc, beautiful evening.

Hopefully this is a turn of events for the weather moving into summer.

Day trip to Scotland planned for saturday.
Ferry over at 7,30am ferry home at 7.30pm.
A nice little 300 mile ride planned out around Lough Lomond.
Will be around a 6.5 hour ride out if gogglemaps can be trusted.

How many miles have you all managed this year so far? I've been out once for about an hour at the end of April. Other than that the weather has been too crap to bother going out. Has anyone else suffered the same?

This will no doubt get spammed by the All Weather Superheroes, but I've got a car so no need to get everywhere soaked to the bone and freezing cold.
Just coming up to 470 miles on my new four year old Royal Enfield.

I did manage 353 miles on my new 1200 Bandit before I sold it after eighteen months.

I don't like the cold.

I've done about 400 miles so far this year, not enough but better than last year!

my problem isn't really the weather, its too many social engagements, too much time on-call and not enough money for fuel!

unless both my calendars, the weather, my bank account agree I'm in the octavia where i don't pay for fuel.

In 2 years previously I've average 1050 miles a year so 400 already is a good start!
