There are some advantages to winter riding - the roads are pretty quiet. Loch Tay.

New home for the bikes:

Easy room for 2 bikes, and room enough at the bottom for a tool chest/paddock stands etc.

Just need to sort out some rubber flooring and get power in there for lights and an optimiser for the Tuono.

Good job Paul - you reckon condensation will be a problem?

Shouldn't be, all the reviews have said condensation isn't an issue - it's got 4 large louvred vents plus hidden vents under the roof joints - I am thinking about sticking some insulation to the walls/roof so if there is any that'll sort it.

Took a good few hours to build, it's seriously heavy - even a single section (1/3rd of it) was tough to slide a few inches into place.

Where's that from Paul?

A mate of mine could really use something like this.

Looks great.

Asgard - http://www.asgardsss.co.uk/motorcycle-storage - they're not cheap but £200 off the insurance per year on the Tuono means it'll have paid for itself within a few years, even sooner if I replace the CB400 with something new in a year or 2, and piece of mind not having it left outside all year round, it's worth it seeing as that was the only option, can't have a proper brick garage.

You can get 5% off by using one of their discount codes here http://www.asgardsss.co.uk/asgard-vouchers-and-dis...

My one (the plus model) was £1140 delivered, so a fair whack, but worth it IMO. 336kg in weight, so it's not going anywhere anytime soon, and a proper lock on the door, no padlock - 2x bolts for the left door and an internal lock with 2 deadbolts top and bottom and the main door lock into the other door.

Some more pics:

I may be a bit biased but I reckon that's still one of the best back ends in the business. My mates do hate following me due to masses of exhaust gases straight into their lids laugh my dad flat out refuses to ride behind me

Cleaned and ACF50'd the Multi ahead of a bit of winter riding. Used some Dodo Juice wax too – bought a tiny tester pot from Amazon and I think it'd last about 20 waxes on the bike!

The rear shelves on new bikes are getting bigger, handy for st though. If it wasn't for running this thing in it would be tucked up in the garage because the roads are filthy :-( .
