First proper run out of the year, didn't take as long as I thought to get back into the swing of it;

I've been getting out whenever I've had the chance. Passed in Oct last year and got my first bike (GSX-R) however I've ridden very little. I got out for a couple of hours today which was good!

Here is the pick I took yesterday of her!

Nice first bike, managed to put some air in the tyres and that was it for me, roads still to salty round here for me to venture out yet

Thanks, I've found it very friendly to ride with most of the power being high in the rev range and with it being light. I'm enjoying it!

A run out today upto scotch corner 200 miles in total a good day.
The coffee out the cabin there is foul.

This morning went out to the skate part with my brother and nephew, last time I rode a BMX was circa 1983, skate part was as chaotic as the M25 on a Friday evening but a great laugh.

The whole thing has moved on since I last did a bunny hop...!




Straight after that with the roads dry and some sun out, I took my daughter for a spin on the VTR , ive ridden a few "big" V Twins before but never owned one, gearbox is clunky(must check chain tension) on the VTR but even with the stock cans it sounds very good from the midrange to the top end is effortless to ride, brisk and comfy too..Just the job.

My daughter has been riding a moped for 6 months and (seriously..) feels she could ride it now...

Some nice photos but all shot into the sun, if the sun had been behind the camera they would have come out perfectly (sorry but I take photos for a living!)

But given how clean Podman has got that Firestorm you'd be dazzled by the reflection.

Duly noted Gunk...I do try and think what may be in the foreground/background, will pay more attention to the sun, nice to have seen some anyway.

No sun this afternoon but I did manage an hour out on the LC, bloody lovely, bike going really well and sounding crisp after some work to the fueling over Winter.
