Croft 2010, the lad on the Green Kawasaki crashed while in 2nd place of the BSB SS 600 race at Croft a week after this picture was taken, can't remember his name but he was in our Garage and spent the whole day picking on me out on track.
Yamaha missed a trick not offering that yellow finish as an official colour. patchb said:
Is that screen a laminar lip? If so how do you find it? I'd consider one but I'd only leave it fitted for longer journeys if they are any good.
Yes it is, it's an improvement over standard in terms of wind protection but you still have to get flat on the tank to fully get out of the wind.Looks a bit st too.

Fantastic bike.... had a 748, F4 an F3 before but this one is just awseome. Noise, looks, performance and bucket loads of charachter! Taken the baffles out and you can here it comming from miles away.....Few upgrades planned for this year including the MV Corse number plate carrier which removes the unsightly one over the rear wheel and loads of Carbon.
First ride oiut on the new Scrambler sixty 2, which I collected this week. So different to the CB650 F, much better suited to the Thai roads . There are miles of off road tracks, that are perfect for this bike, just go and explore with no restrictions, unlike the UK.
Had the Cat removed from the exhaust and it sounds so good and seems to make the bike rev much more freely.
Will get Ducati Hua Hin to reprogramme the electrics to suit a Termignoni exhaust, if they think necessary.
But, the quality control bods have painted a marker in yellow, on EVERY bolt on the bike, to prove each one has been tightened......what a mess. Now I have to spend hours with nail polish remover and a cotton wool bud to clean them all.
Hey ho, this is Thailand......

Now I have a list of add ons, which I can buy direct from Mugello shop in Bangkok. Front screen, headlight cover, frame sliders, new seat in brown check vinyl, and change the rear sprocket from 48 to 44 to make it more smoother on the round town work.
Total cost of the bike was 280,000 bht ( about 6500 gbp ) and the bits will add onother 20,000 bht.
Good value for a Ducati entry level bike.
Soon we will have the Monster 797 here, and that will be around 380,000 bht about 8800 gbp. Think they will do well with this new bike in the range.

Taking advantage and gone into work on mine today.A bit chilly at 6:45 but wrapped up. I forgot to wipe the inside of my visor so suffered with fogging to the point I had to open the visor a little. Ended up at work half deaf with watery eyes!
Roads were nice and clear so no need to mount any pavements!
