Purchased this today....had sat in the chaps front room since restoration, you could eat your dinner off the engine, its in for a shock when I get it home..
Absolutely lovely little thing! Same colour as the one I had back in 1990. To this day I remember it arriving on a trailer at my house. Also remember crashing it into a telegraph pole near Guildford coming back from Box Hill, stashing it in someone's garage, clambering onto the back of my mate's GPX750 who then took out an RD500 in Old Windsor. Two accidents for me in one hour, three bikes written off and in the pub by six. Happy Days!moto_traxport said:

A mate's got an 'S' model. Last time out I had to pillion him to the nearest petrol station as he forgot the fuel tap only works on prime or something. I will try and drag him out to Cassington on Monday night. God only knows what he'll drag out of the collection. Thanks Pete/all...lets see how it runs, I know they where not the most reliable of things when new and my mates has broken down twice so far this Summer and twice last!

Went for a late afternoon ride today with a localish section of The MV Owners Club. Now that the model range has expanded it probably going to be more common to see 7 MV's together and not an AA/GreenFlag/RAC man in sight.
It was 1 x F3 800 1 x F4 750, 1 x F4 1078 1x Brutale 1078 and 3 x Dragster 800 RR's
Allan did you get any time on or talk to the owners of the dragsters ? What did you think of them matey ? It was 1 x F3 800 1 x F4 750, 1 x F4 1078 1x Brutale 1078 and 3 x Dragster 800 RR's
Doom
They looked well made and had deep lustrous paint. The wheels are easier to keep clean than you would imagine apparently ? They all had aftermkt exhausts on and made a great noise. However I cant see past that fat unfinished arse. The tail lights are really bright though.
Probably well suited to inner city posing and shorter rides but not my cuppa however different strokes and all that.
The owners seemed pleased enough and 2 of them hang out at The Ace so can be met and spoken with easily enough.
