Got back late Thursday night from Germany, helping my friend with his bike transportation business move a variety of RDs(YPVS/LCs and older AC), some lovely TDR250's and a shed load of 2 stroke parts.

All of it worth 2, 3 and 4 times the value in the UK, just because the bikes are far more common and easily found over there. (bigger market back in the day I guess)

The dealer was in a small village. in the middle of the black forest and was beautiful, when we made it there on the Wednesday night, there was big piles of snow all around the sides of the road but it was 16 degrees.

Only a few pics as it was all a bit of a dash to get the Chunnel to and from.

A blast from the past. My old mate and travel partner on his CBX-A in SA in 1981 in the Elna Superbike Series. Honda SA were fielding about 4 x CB1100RB's but wanted a CBX out there just for the noise as we ran empty pipes back in the day. The AA who ran racing in SA wouldn't let the 1047cc CBX run in the 1000cc proddie class where it would have been competitive for another year so it had run in the unlimited with GSX1100--CB1100R--Z1100JR so it was always on a hiding but it was such fun to watch and listen to. Doug used to let me out on it in free practise on a Friday when we were looking for a jetting to suit whatever altitude we were at. SA varies by 6000ft.

well off it goes. I always have a horrible feeling at the start of trips/trackdays that im totally out of my depth. Everyone looks so serious and my bikes usually one of the cheapest/slowest one around but its always forgotten about in the first session. Roll on 2am set off on tuesday morning now.
