2 weekends apart, my vintage Tamiya Lunchbox basher, still taking abuse in all conditions smile

That looks like great fun!

My pic for today is the new bike I bought, a GSX-R1000 K9. I'll do a proper thread once I've collected it and got some better pictures.

Excellent choice I had an identical one from new even the same Akra, I loved mine and would probably still have it if I hadn't written it off on a track day at Cadwell so please don't do that!

That looks great. The two-into-one Akrapovic pipe is really cool, it definitely smartens the bike up. Quite a subdued colour scheme, it looks like an undercover bike!

That's very smart. Does it ever get ridden?

Not really designed for comfort so get more pleasure looking at it than riding it now. Took to brands once for track day and was awesome.

I meant getting it out from under the stairs, through the hall, then out the door. biggrin

You sir are a legend for taking a genuine F4 Tamburini on a track day. My F4 312RR is destined for a similar life in our conservatory when I no longer ride it.

Kudos.

Haha Scott if I can find a nicer mat I will get it. Didn't look too hard I guess.

Am I the only one who sees a naked Queen Mother in the photo?

A wee bit of self indulgence here. An old friend scanned these newspaper clippings and results sheet from SA of us all way up in Northern Transvaal playing in club racing on a weekend off from Nationals.

I am on a modified Z1R complete with front slick and treaded rear and it still has the cable operated front master cylinder unique to the Z1R. Bike was not mine and was fairly fast but properly unruly and underbraked. The 750's were new 1981 CB750FA's and #92 and the one further back were both Honda Castrol official riders who went on to greater things. I am #327.

Very cool

Lovely! I bought a 2105 FC250 a month ago (the four stroke version). I'm doing my first enduro on Sunday.... yikes

Good luck! - i just started messing about on the lanes at beginning of December and i am hooked. An enduro is on the bucket list - let us know how you get on - looks like you have got the right tool for the job - husky's are definitely on a resurgence

I can't help but think they've missed the point of the bike as well as ruined it's appearance.

Can't imagine it's optimal (or does much silencing)?

But really, does it need the extra 5-10hp Termi option?.... yikes

Are you kidding?

That's fecking awesome, who cares if it's useable? If I won the lotto I'd buy a go kart track and make loads of them for me and my friends to seriously injur/maim ourselves.

I would love to see a build thread or more info on it
