After a morning riding bikes on glorious dry roads, spent the afternoon washing them again. Suzuki is washed and ready to be sold on, when the weather warms up.

This is most worrying, I was only aware I shared my front door with my wife.

I'll have to get a Multimeter on it tomorrow to see whats wrong as the little fker won't switch off with either the kill switch or ignition switch.

Just wait until the jet blocks up....It's normally only a matter of seconds

Sounds like an earth fault - both the ignition & kill switch put the power to earth when switched off, everything else working OK as they both earth via the main loom?

eta - just looked at a wiring diagram, as it affecting both 'kill' switches, could be the black & white wire from the CDI - this goes to ground when either of the above are switched off, perhaps try earthing it at the CDI connector to see if this stops the motor.

Cheers I'll try the CDI when I get in from work, I took the CDI off when I had the side stand re welded so it's possible that I have missed something there

I've found the problem.

Looking at the block connector all looked to be as it should, I parted it and had a look inside and could see one of the round captive connectors was pushed further back than the others. A quick look at the wires showed it was the black and white wire (earth). A quick jiggle and a poke and all is as should be.
