Nice bloke called Andy from Rugby. He reckons he's done 30 odd trackdays on it in the last two and a bit years so no surprise that you might have seen it before. He's an older chap that's recently taken to trackdays but I got the idea he got quite handy on it. He's just upgraded to a Craig Fitzpatrick built 2013 ZX10.

He passed on the story of who apparently built the GSXR so I'm hoping for good stuff at the back wheel - maybe. Actually I dropped it off at the dyno shop just to see whether it's got all it's gears and to stop me falling over it as I'm trying to repair my old R1.

Not sure why the K8 has been deliberately fitted with heavier fork springs (he was a heavier chap) but a lighter shock spring, ride as-is just for info (might be good!) or stick in what is accepted for my weight?
Ride as is, just record all base settings as a datum to work from.

What's the story you were told bout the motor then? Ex TT bike by any chance?

Want to buy a termi kit ? Was fitted to mine for 2 rides before being written off. Cans are perfect thank god. Comes with up map and everything you need. Cost £1500 , looking for £1000

It was dry and warm at my house, not so much when I got out. There were a lot of newly surfaced roads too, some that have been down a while but still lots of loose gravel and no signs.

Had the roads to myself for the most part too, now understand the point of this "soft" setting on the suspension - though it still "pogo's" too much for my liking.

Also sorry to the wee bird I hit. Hit me right in the chest at a decent speed, if it stung for me then I can't imagine it walked off!

Nothing too exciting. Story goes- supplied by Suzuki on racebike scheme through Crescent. Modded by a techie at Crescent then trackdayed by a family member of Dominic Usher (support series stuff at BSB), then sold off to pay enormous racing debts (very believable), then owned by Andy until me. Got a couple of MSVR scutineer stickers so might have seen a bit of proper racing in it's early days? That and the red number boards suggest a bit of Superstock (Superstandard? hehe )

Cannot see it (and I don't want it to) have too much stuff inside in the motor (couple of thin kit gaskets maybe) but the main thing for me was the K Tech 25mm cartridges, TTX Öhlins and full WoW.
