A picture a day....biker banter (Vol 4)
Discussion
John McGuinness out for a ride this morning, on a Honda Africa thingy, stopped at Devil's Bridge....Not a great pic - sorry , but funny as fk incident .
He had been chatting to a large group of scooter and C50 specials / contraption owners , really jolly ...just as he slowly and gracefully pulled out to leave , a guy on Ktm superduke steamed in, too quickly , all vtwin revs and brake , but pulled it up just beside the crowd ......and promptly dropped it ...
There were many tears, some of them even his ....!
Showboat out on the road .....not in crowded car parks in front of multiple TT winners ( or other assorted tea drinkers...)!
Some pics I took today from the CRMC event at Donnington, even managed to squeeze in a few parade laps of the circuit on my KR1, not at all fast but sharing the track with Spondon Turbos, FS1Es, all types of strokers , big bore 80s 4 strokes m Brit racing bikes , with Steve Parrish and Steve Baker leading in a Ural sidecar(!) and sharing the track with many of the bikes in these pictures was a sight and sound ill never forget, huge fun.
FS1E stand was packed all day.. Merchandise for sale on the stand was really cool!
GSXR trike was beautifully made.
Just about to go out on the circuit, KR has always started first kick, until a couple of hundred people are watching it..Then it needed a bump start...
Ive never seen so many Spondons in one place..lovely.
RD700..
Quick tour of the museum and off home..

. ... It's grim oooop North ...
It is, it's blowing a gale and absolutely pissing it down, as it has been since 4pm, the great British summer strikes again. And yes, i'm from near edinburgh, but a couple of hours gets me down to the north of england so its not out of the question for a nice weekend run with a stopover somewhere for a curry

Being Billy No Mates, I did the trinity: Devils Bridge, Hartside and then Filling Station.
