How was the engine? Also how good was it at slower speeds?
The engine is the best part. It doesn't sound, feel or behave like a std 4 cylinder. It growls, has bags of low end torque and is perfectly happy pootling around town, although things can get a bit warm as you'd expect. Easy to steer, first gear can easily take you to 70 mph and probably beyond....

Quickshifter was smooth, no jumps as you change gears. I only tried Std mode as I'd had about 90 minutes experience on litre bikes (tried a Speed Triple the day before, and loosened my bowels on a Fireblade before that) but power was manageable and progressive, no snatchy throttle or anything.

It's a very tall bike. I'm 6'3 and couldn't get both feet flat on the ground. It did make me grin like a naughty boy though.

Jeez, you must have tiny legs and a huge body! I'm 6ft 3 and can flat foot a KTM 990 adventure R with it's 36" seat height once the suspension had compressed a little sitting on the bike, the MT10 is only 825mm/32 inches, easy flat foot.

Quite a cool modern take on a TZ750 flat tracker I'd have said?!
