One from this mornings blast around the purbeck hills.

I went to look at a white 2009 Ducati Hypermotard 1100, lovely bike 5000 miles, just had belts etc. done not a mark on it, I was genuinely interested in buying it but the dealer said he was not allowing anyone to test ride it without making a deal on it first.
That immediately put me off and I won't be buying anything from there, that is not how a dealer should try to sell a bike.

New bike (to me)! Another attempt at replacing the 1998 R1 which is getting a bit long in the tooth.

07/08 model. Same thing really but 4 valve cyl head rather than 5 valve, motorised inlet trumpets and 6 piston brake calipers. Hopefully night & day re my 98 bike!

Hopefully will squeeze it on a dyno sometime this week and if all okay it gets shipped out to Catalunya next weekend. Any issues and the old one goes out and sort this over winter.

Cheers Dan.

Thumb mostly healed up but still got a small shard of porceline inside - hopefully it will work its way to the surface eventually.

We'll see. The 98 R1 has seen a CBR600, CBR929, CBR1000RR5 and GSXR1000K8 all arrive as track replacements and seen them all go.

Fingers crossed this new thing is the daddy!

With shiny painted wheels and a new radiator. Just needs a good strip down and clean, and new set of fairing bolts
Has the windscreen still got a zillion track stickers smile

Teaching on Weds... :-( Maybe I can just give them a couple of YouTube videos to watch, not like anyone listens.

No!
Well, maybe biggrin Too many happy memories stuck to that windscreen. I have a clear one to fit sometime.

That freaked me out for a minute though, I was thinking "He's never seen my bike, how does he know?" Then I remembered Facebook biggrin
