Great Pic!
I also owned that awesome piece of engineering for 7.5 years, mine was end of line 2006 Blackbird smile Swapped out for a 'commuter' Speed Triple in Feb this year since I've stopped Euro touring now.

I traded my 2003 Blackbird in last month. Only had 17,500 miles on the clock. Dealer has it up for £4,950!!!

After my Indian test ride last week I have this coming in a few weeks. Traded the Hammer in after 6 years which is the longest I've ever owned a bike I'll be sorry to see it go

I was going to go for a ride on Monday and Tuesday while I was off work using up leftover holiday entitlement.

Didn't have any other plans at all so I thought I'd have all day on the bike. Chain adjusted, helmet polished (not sure i will ever get bored of saying that), fuel in the tank, cake and coffee money in my wallet, ready to rock.

Did the rain and crap weather clear up so I could actually go for a ride? Did it buggery! Spent the whole two days dossing around at home and looking out the window for some signs of sunshine and thinking about my bike sat in the garage cold and un(ab)used. I was so bored I did housework and cleaned the fridge shelves. Seeing all your photos reminds me of what I missed out on, salt in the wound damn you all *shakes fist*

No tax, no insurance, no MOT, no helmet, no worries.

Just found this pic of Dad from 1970.

I think it was a Greeves.

Genuine question - does stuff have to be lockwired/secured like it does for road racing? Is there anything specific for off road racing that has to be checked?
I spannered for a mate racing TZR250s for bemsee/new era UK Clubs in the late 90s.. we used to spend ages lockwiring stuff including rad caps lol for those 'sorry Mr Scrutineer can't open that' to check for sure that you're just using water kinda situations given the rule bending that used to go on!

£3,000. Apparently, the "book" price is £2,500.

Looks lovely apart from the dodgy exhaust angle which is all wrong IMO.

Good luck to them grabbing all the potential 600cc sportbike sales now most manufacturers are pulling out the sector.

Shame it's pretty much the old bike made to look like an R1 and with some electronics, and somehow a load heavier. I'd rather have a 13S.
